Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai Filming in Progress in Abu Dhabi

The sequel to the Salman Khan hit, Ek Tha Tiger, Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai has commenced its shooting in Abu Dhabi. Produced by Yash Raj films, the movie is being shot at different locations outside as well as in India. The Ali Abbas claims a shooting duration of 65 days, longest ever for a Bollywood movie with the budget. The crew have been through unbearable climate conditions for the shooting of the movie, varying from -20°c in the Austrian mountains to the blood bubbling heat of 50°c in the desert. The crew of 300 consists of production crew from India, U.K and U.S.A as well as freelancers from Abu Dhabi.

The most popular location, as tweeted by Ali Abbas was the Arkan cement factory in Al Ain, which was recreated to make it look like an oil refinery. The accomplishment was tweeted with a reference of beautiful by him. Another eye catching location was a palace ballroom, wherein Salman and Katrina were sighted in royal clothes with chandeliers and paintings around them.

The UAE government has been very supportive for the film’s shooting. They have been known to provide the film with military equipment and helicopters. The lead role players, both Khan and Katrina are regular visitors to Abu Dhabi. Katrina Kaif was last present in Abu Dhabi for her previous movie with Hrithik Roshan, Bang Bang, whereas Salman will be coming again in order to promote his song Radio, from his upcoming movie, Tubelight.
