Greeted and hosted by our very own talented Farah Khan and the young face who has managed to get a seat in our hearts in a very little time, Aparshakti Khurana, IIFA Rocks 2022: The Best of Music and Fashion, took place all on one stage on 3rd June 2022.
Followed by the enchanting performances of Devi Sri Prasad, Tanishk Bagchi, Guru Randhawa, Honey Singh, Neha Kakkar, Dhvani Bhanushali, Zahrah S Khan, Asees Kaur, Ash King, IIFA rocks was an event of grandeur and celebration for all the Bollywood fans as well as the stars. Being the largest celebrated global platform for promoting Bollywood and Indian culture IIFA has managed to make a great impact through ethnicity and its values on all the fans.
A fashion parade by Falguni and Shane Peacock, exhibiting their extraordinary works during the NEXA fashion show was quite a sight for the trend-setters at this 22nd edition of the IIFA.
The IIFA 2022 is being held on Abu Dhabi’s best scenic sights, the Yas Island, where all the Bollywood idols have descended. Every aspect of melodic pleasure like Cinematography, Screenplay, Dialogue, Editing, Choreography, Sound Design, Sound Mixing, Background Score and Special Effects (Visuals) was given deserving attention and recognition with ‘Technical Awards’.
‘Sir Uddham’ starring Vicky Kaushal and Banita Sandhu sweeps 3 technical awards for choreography, editing and special effects (visuals) while ‘Atrangi Re’, starring Dhanush, Sara Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar takes 2 for choreography and background score. While ‘Sheershah’ featuring Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani scored one for outstanding screenplay and ‘Thappad’ by Tapsee Pannu for its remarkable Dialogues. Terrific sound design in ‘Tanhaji- The Unsung Warrior’ and sound mixing in ’83’ were bestowed with one technical award each.
