The RTA (Road & Transport Authority, Dubai) app is completely build for Dubai resident and tourist. It groups the utility features for the Driver. It includes renewing parking tickets through mParking (still uses SMS) to inquiry and payment of traffic fines. There’s also a convenient way to chat with RTA service agents directly through the app making things a lot more convenient.

Google as always is the best. It is now even better with its new Google Now app. It has a bunch of utility features. It is listed with several useful cars. Among them is a new Parking Location card that automatically saves the approximate location of where you parked in your last drive. It simply uses the sensors in your smartphone and the built in GPS. It also has several other cars that can tell you about what is your remaining distance to work or home, your courier tracking details if you have some shipments to be received, whether forecast and so on.
