1. Their 70 Kmph Hoverbike
Scorpion hoverbike is a ridiculously awesome bike which can fly up to heights of 16 feet, cruise at up to 70km/h and carry 300 kg of rider and gear. To bring this bike on board the Dubai Police partnered with Russian company Hoversurf.
2. Their Bugatti Veyron
Bugatti Veyron, one of the 14 supercars of the country’s police force. Thus Dubai owns the world’s fastest police car in service. Bugatti can go from 0-60mhp in just two and a half seconds and can touch 253mph (400 kmph) easily. They were also presented with a certificate by Guinness World Records for having the world’s fastest police car in service.
3. World record for Longest Wheelie
Yes, you heard it right, the Dubai police made a Guinness World Record for carrying out the world’s longest wheelie on an all-terrain vehicle (ATV).The record was set by Captain Abdulla Hattawi along a 60km long road, during the Dubai Motorbike Festival.
4. Their Lamborghinis
Lamborghini Aventador is indubitably one of the coolest additions to their fleet, reaching a whopping 360 km/hr and coming with the ability to touch 100kph in 2.9 seconds. The car comes with aeronautics-inspired design, V12 engine, and a carbon fiber body.
5. Their Aston Martins
Aston Martin – a luxury name in the field of sports cars. This beast is a real treat for everyone who sees them at their national events. Aston Martin One-77 is one of only 77 ever built.
6. Their Ferrari FF
Ferrari is just another name in the league of their best collection of high-speed cars. It comes with a V12 engine and goes from 0 to 100kph in 3.7 seconds.
7. World record for forming a Massive Smiley
The team brought another Guinness World Record home by forming the largest UAE flag using 143 cars to commemorate the festivities of their national day. They also did so in the form of a smiley emoji.
8. World record for pulling the heaviest Aircraft
An A380 Emirates aircraft, the heaviest aircraft was pulled 56 macho men from the Dubai Police forming a very long chain and pulled for 100 meters as part of the 30-day Fitness Challenge. This fitness exercise made the team enter a new world record for being able to do that. Together, these men pulled a gigantic aircraft that weighed 302.68-tonne.
9. First Unmanned Smart Police Station
The Dubai police opened the world’s first unmanned smart police station – open 24 hours, 7 days a week which offers 27 key services, over and above the basic facilitation. Doesn’t it make the Dubai Police’s technology out of everyone’s league?
10. Their Horse Parade
The Dubai police made another world record while celebrating their 46th UAE National Day for the largest parade at the Meydan Grandstand and Racecourse with 116 horses and UAE flags from the Dubai Police stables.
