Enjoy Eid Al Fitr fireworks in the UAE at these places during the long weekend
What’s an Eid celebration without a spectacular display of fireworks lighting up the sky and your lives? And as always, the UAE has pulled all stops to make this year’s festive holiday a sparkling affair. But where are the best vantage points to view the fireworks? We have made it easier for you as we bring you a list of places that you can head to over the long Eid weekend.
Yas Island:
Abu Dhabi’s leading leisure destination, this fun island is a great place to enjoy Eid celebrations as the skies light up with iconic, festive firesworks displays on the first three days of Eid Al Fitr. The shows will begin at 9pm.
Dubai Festival City Mall:
The popular Festival Bay at Dubai Festival City Mall is set to display a grand three-minute firework show on May 3 at 9pm. This will happen alongside Imagine, a light, laser and sound show. If you’d like to catch some live music, there is also a concert by Nassif Zeytoun and Rahma Riad that tickets can be bought for.
Global Village:
Grab your family and head to this much-loved location to view fireworks every day over Eid, starting from 9pm. Make the most of the holidays as the venue will have extend timings — from 5pm until 2am from Saturday — until it closes on May 7.
The Pointe:
Home to the world’s largest fountain, The Pointe will also be celebrating the first day of Eid with a fireworks display, and of course, a fountain show. The shows will be on the first day of Eid (expected to be May 2), at 9pm.
Bluewaters Island:
Head to this now iconic destination early to catch some Insta-worthy shots underneath Ain Dubai, the world’s largest observation wheel. The venue will have a fireworks show on the second day of Eid Al Fitr, starting at 9pm.
