South Indian International Movie Awards SIIMA, is all set to create another milestone in 2017 with getting starts from all the four industries – Tollywood, Kollywood, Sandalwood & Mollywood together. SIIMA is organizing its award show for the 4 th year in UAE, in the same grand style as it did for the previous 3 times.
Till a few years back only Bollywood was considered to be the focal point of Indian entertainment world wide, but these few years South Indian cinema has seen a big paradigm shift internationally. Actors from South Indian cinema and Bollywood can be seen working together and now, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are attending SIIMA 2017, which will basically be two fold, first to promote their upcoming film ‘Jagga Jasoos’ which is set to release on 14th July 2017, and also to create a bond with co-stars in South. Baahubali has already taken South actors, directors, to an international level.
It will be interesting to see Ranbir and Katrina at SIIMA promoting their upcoming, since this movie has gone through a lot of trouble as it is, the constant release rescheduling and constant reshoots have affected the essence of the movie. We just hope this film does well, because Jagga Jasoos may actually be career deciding movie for both, Ranbir and Katrina.
Jagga Jasoos is an upcoming 2017 Indian musical adventure romantic comedy film written and directed by Anurag Basu, and produced by Basu and Ranbir Kapoor.
